The Business: Technology distribution firm with 3000 employees, 60% being non-exempt (overtime eligible).

Situation: Overtime expenses were getting out of control, with 2014’s overtime expenses being $750k, when the budget was only $200k. Manual systems were used to capture time and attendance, making the reporting of overtime cumbersome and unreliable.

Request: Decrease overtime expenses.

Solution: Implemented the ADP™ Time & Attendance module on time and without need of any potentially costly additional support from ADP™. We also trained employees in how to use the new system.

Outcome: Provided supervisors with overtime reports usage to better manage work schedules and overtime. Overtime decreased by 66%, making the figures as estimated in budget.

Completion: Three weeks for implementation; two weeks for training and communication.
